David S. Willig

Mr. Willig is a native of Miami Beach, and a resident of the City of Miami since 1993. He is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and practices principally in the area of international law. In addition to being a member of the Florida Bar, Mr. Willig is qualified to practice law in Europe, having passed his law exams in France, where he is also an attorney at the Bar of Paris.  He also holds an appointment from the Florida Secretary of State as a Florida Civil-Law, or International, Notary, a professional figure created by legislation in Florida intended to bridge the legal gap with civil law countries such as the majority of Latin American countries and those of Continental Europe. Mr. Willig is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese, and conversant in other languages as diverse as German, Japanese and Haitian Creole.
