Hugo P. Arza is a government relations and corporate/real estate transactional attorney. Mr. Arza’s experience includes representation of entities in their corporate transactions, including formation, corporate governance, real estate matters (including sales and purchases and title agent work), mergers and acquisitions, bank financing and public and private offerings. He has extensive cross-border experience working with foreign companies, individuals and governments in their dealings with U.S. legal and regulatory authorities. Additionally, Mr. Arza has substantial experience in quasi-governmental proceedings and administrative law.

As a complement to his legal practice, Mr. Arza is a government affairs consultant and regularly represents clients before State of Florida agencies, Miami-Dade County, the South Florida Water Management District, the Miami-Dade County School District and various municipalities and other government entities throughout the State. Additionally, he has been a campaign manager and consultant to numerous candidates for elected office. Currently, Mr. Arza serves on a Miami-Dade County School Board Advisory Committee and on the Homestead Educational Facilities Benefit District Board, a partnership between the City of Homestead, Miami-Dade County and the Miami-Dade County School District. Mr. Arza’s government relations’ clients include educational services providers, not-for-profit groups, goods and services vendors, land developers and construction companies.

 Mr. Arza lives with his wife, Nicole, and daughter, Isabella, in the City of Miami.
