The primary responsibility of the Management
Services Division is the management of ‘people
issues’ which include personnel areas such as
employee discipline; firefighter recruitment and
hiring; and oversight of the Department’s
worker’s compensation, firefighter wellness, and
labor/management programs. Other
responsibilities include coordinating the
Department’s information technology needs and
acting as liaison between the Fire Department
and other City Departments.
