The Geographic Information
System (GIS) provides strategic mapping and
spatial analysis for the Planning Department,
other City Departments, outside agencies, as
well as the public. Specifically, this type of
information is prepared for planning studies of
neighborhoods by presenting graphic
presentations of significant indicators of
demographic and socio-economic data and
analysis, land ownership characteristics, as
well as important community facilities. Land
Development applications include Zoning and
Future Land Use mappings.
