City of Miami 1680 AM is the City of Miami's municipal government
radio station. Miami residents can tune in on 1680 AM while traveling
within City limits to listen to information on city services, 24-hours a day, seven days
a week with messages in English, Spanish and Creole.
In times of emergency, City residents will be able to obtain important and up-to-date
information such as points of distribution for ice, water and food, as well as to learn
whether city facilities are open or closed. During non-emergencies, City of Miami
Radio offers a variety of information on City services as well as EAS weather reports.
The station serves as another venue for the city to disseminate information to its residents
about city services and phone numbers.
