Regular Trash, Garbage and Recycling Pick Up on
Monday, May 30th, 2011, Memorial Day Holiday, for
City of Miami Residents
(Miami,
FL May 25, 2011)—The
City of Miami Department of Solid Waste will be conducting
regularly-scheduled trash, garbage and recycling pick-up on Monday,
May 30th, 2011, Memorial Day.
Those residents whose garbage, trash and recycling are always
collected on Mondays should place their items out as they usually
do. Residents with questions or concerns are encouraged to call 311.
We also want to
remind our residents that the city’s Mini Dump is no longer
operational.
Residents are reminded:

Both garbage
containers and bulky trash must be placed away from
phones/cable/electricity lines, under trees, utility poles, fire
hydrants, fences, vehicles and 5 feet away from any structure

Recycled items
should be placed in the recyclable container in a visible and
accessible location
