Sunday, July 24, 2011, Miamians will be singing Happy Birthday on
the anniversary of the Magic City in a full day of festivities at
Mary Brickell Village, South Miami Avenue and 9th, from
10am – 8pm.

covering the event are invited to stop at the
Media Area which will be
located at Dolores but they
call me Lolita Restaurant, 1000 South Miami Avenue
and will be open
from 10am – 7pm. At
the Media Area there will be press kits, a replica of the birthday
cake and information about "Flora, the Gatherer of Dreams" the
sculpture being gifted to the City of Miami by the late renowned
Cuban artist Cundo Bermudez.

11am-At
the Downtown Miami Residents & Visitors Center, 900 South Miami
Avenue, Space #183, Mayor
Tomas Regalado will be presented with the portrait of Mary Brickell
by the artist himself Winsome Bolt, created for the 3rd
Annual Miami Beach Women’s Conference and donated to the City of
Miami.
6pm-Time to sing “Happy Birthday Miami,” at the Main Stage, located on South Miami Avenue and 9th between Rosa Mexicano and PF Chang’s. The 2,500 birthday cupcake masterpiece will be presented for everyone there to enjoy.
