(Miami, FL July 22, 2011)–
The Movie Night series returns to Miami City Hall with the free
screening of the environmental documentary “How To Boil a Frog,”
by Canadian filmmaker and environmental activist Jon Cooksey. The
film will be shown inside
City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, on Friday, July 29, at 6:30 p.m.
Cooksey, who describes himself as a screenwriter and comedian, stars
in and narrates this “eco-comedy” that centers on global warming as
a personal concern and not just a global one.
Quirky and funny, the film
presents the audience with interesting recommendations for people
can get involved to do something about climate change. You can learn
more about the film by going to the website

Joining Commissioner Sarnoff for the screening will be Rebecca
Tobias, “Ambassador from the Pond,” and a Fellow with the United
Nations Working Group for Indigenous Populations. Tobias, who is a
friend and confidante of filmmaker Cooksey, is based in North
Vancouver, British Columbia and will help lead a discussion about
the film.
