RazzleDazzle Barber Shop Hold a Back to School Event for 40
Underprivileged Children |

August 12, 2011)—On Tuesday, August 16, 2011, City of Miami
Mayor Tomas Regalado will join Elena Linares, owner of the
RazzleDazzle Barbershop in Mary Brickell Village for free haircuts
and a “Dazzling” back to school event prepared specially for 40
children from low income families in Miami.
From 9am –
1pm, scissors will be snipping away and making sure each and every
one of the kids gets their hair cut just the way they want it.
Besides giving them the free haircuts, the children will be
treated for lunch and refreshments courtesy of Balans Restaurant.
After lunch, Mayor Regalado will be present to help
distribute 40 backpacks donated by Neat Stuff.
The Biscayne Kiwanis will give away t-shirts and Dr. Barry
Burak and Affiliated Healthcare Centers, Inc. will contribute with
face painting and balloons for the kids.
School supplies are courtesy of EDCO Awards & Specialties and
“Goodie Bags” have been provided by Barry University.
“This year
the outpouring of support by so many in the community has been
overwhelming,” expressed Mayor Regalado.
“Parents today are facing many hardships; we want to help
them get their children ready for the start of school.”
