City of Miami to Hold Free Its 3rd Financial Planning Day,

Residents can receive one-on-one informal consultations |

Along with Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.,
Financial Planning Association of Miami-Dade, Foundation for
Financial Planning and the United States Conference of Mayors, the
City of Miami is co-sponsoring and helping bring the
South Florida
Financial Planning Day on
Saturday, October 29, 2011 from 10:00AM to 2:00PM to the Little
Haiti Cultural Center.
This opportunity will provide residents with
free, private consultations
on financial challenges with experts from the Financial Planning
Association and highly qualified CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM
professionals. In addition to one-on-one consultations, there will
be workshops on a variety of financial topics throughout the day.

local financial experts to provide all City residents with a
FREE Financial Education Day
Advice Line. Call 311 between 10:00AM and 2:00PM and speak with
credit, housing, and legal counselors, as well as certified
financial planners. You will have the opportunity to receive free
advice on credit issues, debt management, savings goals, budgeting,
homeownership issues, financial planning and more.
