Mayor Tomas Regalado Greets Haiti’s President-Elect Michel Martelly


(Miami, FL April 25, 2011)--Haiti’s President-elect Michel Martelly will be visiting Miami Monday to thank the South Florida Haitian community for their trust and support, and invite all its members to come together and assist the new administration with the economic development and reconstruction efforts in Haiti. The President-elect also plans to discuss ongoing constitutional amendments with the community.

The first stop of the day will be at the Haitian Consulate in Miami. There he will be greeted by Consular Officers as well as Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado and visit with Consulate personnel.

At 10:00 AM the President-elect will travel to the City of Miami’s Little Haiti Cultural Center where he will hold a press conference and meet with community members.
