Notice of Special Commission Meeting
Miami, FL (August 27, 2010 ) —City of Miami Mayor, Tomas Regalado, has
requested the scheduling of a Special City Commission Meeting to be held Tuesday, August 31, 2010
at 1:00pm in City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 3500 Pan American Drive, Miami, Florida.
The purpose of this meeting is to consider and take such action as it deems to be in the public interest
concerning (a) adoption of an emergency ordinance and ratification of Memorandum of Understanding allowing for early
retirement option for members of the General Employees’ and Sanitation Employees’ Retirement Trust and (b) the city’s financial
urgency proposals for modification of the collective bargaining agreements of International Association of Fire Fighters,
Fraternal Order of Police, AFSCME 1907, AFSCME 871, pursuant to the city’s declaration of Financial Urgency under Florida
