Press Conference Notice: Mayor Regalado & Commissioner Sarnoff to Discuss Brickell Ave. Safety Issues and Recent FDOT Decisions
WHAT: To formally announce the changes to the speed limit and other safety and quality of life issues facing Brickell area residents and businesses.
WHO: City of Miami Mayor Tomas Regalado City of Miami Commission Chairman Marc D. Sarnoff Representatives from the Florida Department of Transportation, the Downtown Development Authority, the Brickell Area Association, the Brickell Homeowners Association invited.
WHEN: Thursday, December 16, 2010 at 12:30 p.m.
WHERE: In front of the building at 1450 Brickell Avenue
WHY: Acknowledging the concerns of residents and business owners on Brickell Avenue, the Florida Department of Transportation has agreed to lower the speed limit along the avenue and enact other changes to make the road safer.
